On November 20th 2024, our team, with the help of Holbæk Gamle Havns Beddinger brought Hawila back on the slipway. VIDEO CREDITS: Morten Løvschall The crew started early that day to put the last pieces of tarp into place, then Hawila's engine started rolling and we took her on her little tour through the fjord over to the Old Harbour of Holbæk, where the slipway is located. There, we were greeted by the fantastic team of the association behind the local slipway, who went straight into action. It took 3 hours to put her back on land but everything worked out great. You don't need a licence, and you don't even have to use sails. Just put the engines in forward, and off you go! You need to have some boating experience under your belt, but even if you don't, you can book now and work on getting some experience before you arrive for your holiday. We can also offer some on-water training to build your confidence, we call that a 'sail guide'. Just ask us!

Few Feels like a long time ago now March 26th 2019 the first sail aboard Alexander Hamilton - crew for the delivery trip my very good friend Dan, the very patient previous owner of Alexander Hamilton Ray Lymington and not forgetting one of the finest yacht photographer and filmmaker Alexis Andrews from Antigua. ( needless to say he had no influence on this video )
