StarSloop Channel Trailer for our Sailing vLog: Cruising, Sailing and Traveling with our 2010 MacGregor 26M along with our 1977 Morgan 415 OI Ketch and now with our '92 Privilege 39 2025 Update! Last year was spent downsizing from and liquidating our horse ranch, preparing for a life adventure living aboard our boat. We changed plans and purchased an old Jentot Privilege 39 sailing catamaran. I'll sell Matilda, our Morgan 415 OI while preparing the cat for moving on board once my wife retires. This channel has been a tale of two (now three) Sailboats: (1) Trailer-Sailing : Pocket-Cruising, Sailing and Traveling with our beloved MacGregor 26M: Galactica. (2) Weekend liveaboard Sailing : We spend an average of 38--40 weekends per year on our Morgan OI 415 ketch sailing a midwestern U.S. hidden gem of a lake with our boating friends! (3) preparing GalaxSea, our new to us catamaran for our use. I have more content to publish to this channel as we work through the many months of preparation and transition to become future liveaboards--on a budget! This series is mostly a window into our sailing lifestyle as we've learned to sail, the modifications and maintenance and boating fellowship along the way. Kiel war der Startpunkt des The Ocean Race Europe 2025 – und setzte gleich zu Beginn ein eindrucksvolles Zeichen. Fünf Tage lang verwandelte sich die Kieler Förde in eine Bühne für Hochsee-Segelsport, gelebten Meeresschutz und ein internationales Miteinander. Zwischen dem 6. und 10. August kamen hunderttausende Menschen an die Kiellinie, um die IMOCA-Boote aus nächster Nähe zu erleben, die Crews bei spannenden Showrennen und dem großen Leg Start anzufeuern und Teil eines außergewöhnlichen maritimen Festivals zu sein. Fast die Hälfte aller Besucher*innen des gesamten Rennens war schon in Kiel dabei – ein starkes Zeichen für die Bedeutung der Stadt Kiel im Segelsport.
