After months of hard work, we’ve finally reached the final days of our major sailboat refit! 🛠️ In the final days we move the boat to the ramp, replace the prop shafts, install brand new Flexofold propellers, apply a fresh coat of antifoul, and finally — relaunch our home back into the water! It’s been a huge project getting our aluminum catamaran ready for the next adventure, and this moment makes it all worth it. Finally! The Wild Thing 100 grapevine helped us capture her arriving through Sydney Heads this morning (Sunday), this time with her sails up. Sailing down from Queensland over the last 24 hours, her AIS showed her clocking some solid speeds. But sadly the breeze panned out as she approached Sydney Heads and the 100 footer turned from Wild Thing to Mild Thing! @cruisingyachtclubofaustral1612 @Rolex #wildthingyachting
