När vi seglade över Atlanten fiskade vi en hel del och fick ordentligt med fisk. Totalt fick vi upp: 🐠 4 Mahi Mahi (10 kg + 10 kg + 5 kg + 5 kg) 🐠 1 gulfenad tonfisk på 7 kg 🐠 1 wahoo på 4 kg Det vi fiskar upp lockar såklart inte bara oss… utan även större fiskar. Man vet aldrig vad som nappar på betet. Vänner till oss har till exempel fått upp en tonfisk på hela 35 kg! Men det som hände två gånger under överfarten var något helt annat. Första gången förstod vi inte riktigt vad vi såg. En stor “fisk” simmade bakom båten med en Mahi Mahi tvärs över munnen. Den följde båten och cirklade runt vårt drag. Kanske hade Mahi Mahin sett betet och var på väg mot det, när den större tog den först. Det var häftigt. Men andra gången var ännu mer häpnadsväckande. Då förstod vi att "fisken" vi sett var en haj. Jag försökte filma, men det var svårt. Tittar man noga ser man ändå hajfenan på bilden. Den simmade bakom oss i flera minuter, säkert fem, och kom så nära som en meter från akterspegeln. Eftersom Mahi Mahin är så färgstark, gul och blå, kunde vi hela tiden se exakt var hajen var. Och som om det inte räckte… Första kvällen i Martinique, efter att vi ankrat, tänkte vi ta ett snabbt kvällsdopp. Det var redan mörkt.Men då dök en haj upp igen, vid akterspegeln. Den här gången hann både Oscar och Nils se den. Det blev inget bad. Vi tog en dusch istället 😅🦈 Vad hade ni gjort? Badat ellet duschat? 💦

Day 4 Stari Grad: We sail to the island of Hvar on Tuesday morning. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic. We will moor up in the port of Stari Grad. Situated on the northern side of the island, Stari Grad is the oldest town in Croatia and boasts an attractive network of old narrow streets and small squares around the harbour. Day 5 Vis: Vis is one of the most outer islands on the Dalmatian coast. Vis has been used over the centuries as a strategic military port and saw action through WWII against Italy and the Germans. It has only recently been open to commercial tourism and still retains a lot of its charm. Day 6 Hvar: From Vis, we head towards Hvar Town. Famous for its super-yachts and celebrity status. Climb the hill to explore the 16th-century fort ruins overlooking the harbour, before checking out the famous Hvar nightlife, with clubs such as Carpe Diem and Nautica Bar. Day 7 Split: From Hvar, we sail back to Split for the last night. Enjoy the view of the Split Riviera as we arrive into Split late afternoon. Split is a city under UNESCO protection that belongs not only to Croatians, but also to you, as it is a part of its World Heritage status. Day 8 Split: Early breakfast and time to say goodbye to the crew and all your new friends! Disembark from the boat at 9am.
