J109 Going to Red was locked in close combat with the several of the IRC 1 fleet in the first of the Tobermory of WYHW 2023. The wind was ranging between 10 and 15 knots on the first beat with J109 Going to Red crossing just behind the Maxi 1300 "Maximoose Too" GBR9333C early on the first best. Maximoose Too lead from start to finish in this race with Going to read coming in 6th place. The bottom up boats team had a great time at WHYW, the weather was not great but the sailing and the social life more than made up for the damp conditions. Pearson Ensign, 21.5 feet and tons of fun

When parking our dingy, we like to pull it fairly high up on the beach, but when the tide goes out, it can be a long haul to take it back to the water before we're able to row out to our liveaboard sailboat home. When we don't put an outboard motor on the dingy, we can drag it back to the water fairly quickly. On this day in Sansimion, after having some wine at the Hearst Winery, we had some fun with it.
