We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Notte a motore, che significa notte di riposo. 😴 Eh si, unpopolar opinion: niente vento significa niente onde, che significa barca ferma e sonno assicurato 😄 Comunque l’alba arriva in fretta, e con lei un filo di vento. Prima genoa, poi gennaker. Manteniamo una media di 140 miglia al giorno circa. Con il gennaker manteniamo comunque i nostri dignitosissimi 5 nodi di velocità. Domenica di riposo, di giochi di società, di chiacchiere e relax. Qualcuno legge, qualcun altro sonnecchia, altri due ancora sistemano cose (oggi il tangone). I prossimi due giorni è previsto che non siano molto diversi da oggi, poco vento e alta pressione. Noi procediamo verso nord-est, inseguendo il vento, seppur godendoci ugualmente uno scorcio di vita un po’ più lenta. Buona domenica a tutti ⛵️💙 C.
