Since our first visit, Cumberland Island has become the “magical” or “enchanting” place on the ICW. And how lucky are we to be able to visit it by private vessel? We enjoy exploring all parts of the island, from the trails and marsh to the beaches and mansion ruins, but it’s the wildlife and remoteness that keeps us wanting to come back. Words and pictures cannot describe the experience as you immerse yourself under the canopy of mossy oaks while hearing the chirps of birds, the whinnying of horses, and the rustling leaves made by the armadillos. Our first week of life at anchor and sailing fulltime. This season is dedicated to sailing. We haven't had the chance to just sail yet because of the monsoon season that just passed and before that we had our senior dogs Roxy and Bo with us onboard which proved too challenging to head out sailing. So from January to the end of sailing season which should be around April or May, we will be training. There's a lot more to learn, never ends. #24HourTravellers #sailing #shorts
