I lost the kill cord and had to ask a friend to tow me and our guests back to Britican. That’s the fifth time in ten years that I’ve lost the kill cord. Have I learned yet? I've been thinking a lot about what is a necessity and what is a luxury. On my boat, something that feels really luxurious is the little 3-pot hanging herb garden I installed in the galley up against the port window. Having fresh herbs in the middle of the ocean is brings flavor to any meal!
