At Lagoon, celebrations are taking place throughout 2024, having started in March with the presentation of the Lagoon 60 at their Bordeaux site and continued with the Lagoon Escapade. Over the long weekend of May 17, 18 and 19, no fewer than 30 owners’ rendezvous were held simultaneously all around the world (well, almost simultaneously, ignoring the time difference...). In all, 300 Lagoons and 1,500 crew celebrated this anniversary. Alfred Mylne may have peaked when he designed the River Class over 100 years ago. The beautify old ladies of the lough make the Bottom Up Boats crew smile every time we glide by them on the race course. Her lines are timeless with her big boom holding out a main that powers her along in any conditions.
