This was a sticky mess and I didn't like it one bit! Give me sanding for days, dusty work and all, but glue is not for me, everything is stick, you can't touch anything, it makes such a mess, especiall when you're not sure what you're doing.... But hey the plywood is on, on for eternity and I am happy about it. Does it look neat, does it look pretty? - Let's not talk about it. It's going to get covered with fibergalss anyways :) Happy days! The team at Lyman-Morse deftly executed a construction feat recently with our large architectural canopy project currently under construction in Thomaston, Maine. The team craned the 80' x 32' composite canopy-half outside, flipped it over, and nestled it back inside so the stage of the project can begin. This half will now be receiving a Class A marine-grade coating, while the second half is constructed adjacent to this one. This is part of a major architectural feature coming to Cambridge, MA's Kendall Square this fall. The canopy will cover the entrances to the MBTA stations and serve as a major showpiece for the major redevelopment project. Turner Construction is leading the project.
