At the Melges 20 World Championship, sailors hail from nine different countries across four continents. After racing, everyone swaps stories on the docks and at the social events at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club. The Melges 20 fleet boasts incredible, highly organized racing around the globe; 2019 is no exception. The Melges World League’s North American Division has welcomed new owners to the class this year and is fully energized for the upcoming 2019-2020 Miami Winter Series. Melges 20 Worlds will be in North America again in 2021. Before next year’s winter series kicks off, sailors will head to Europe for a summer circuit of great Melges World League racing across six events organized by Melges Europe. The MWL Asian Division is in full action in Japan with regular racing and five sanctioned regattas organized by Melges Japan on a backdrop of Mount Fuji. Get ready for RS Fest Miami 2025! The second edition of our multi-class RS Sailing event in North America. The three-day regatta is a celebration of RS Sailing fleets – hosted in tropical Miami at Coconut Grove Sailing Club. Regatta racing will be held from Friday, March 28th, to Sunday, March 30th! The RS Aero, RS Tera, RS Feva, RS Venture, and RS21 classes, and a new addition for 2025, the RS Open Class, are invited to join the event for a long weekend of exciting racing. In true RS Sailing style, the socials onshore will be just as fun as the racing on the water. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all, welcoming old friends and embracing new ones in the RS Family!

Wajer Yachts has opened a new boat house at their shipyard in Heeg (the Netherlands). Under the design direction of Studio Piet Boon, the 350m2 building has been completely designed around Wajer yachts to reflect their craftsmanship and passion for materials. The focal point is the gigantic indoor 8 by 27 metre berth where even the largest model, the Wajer 77, can enter. In addition to the reception area, which has a view of the mooring, the boathouse offers meeting rooms, lounges and terraces.
