► On Thursday May 22, Catana Group held an open day at its brand-new production facility for Yot, its new range of powercats. Located on the shores of a perfectly sheltered stretch of water in Aveiro, just south of Porto, in Portugal, the 5-acre (20,000 m²) site is adjacent to that of Xquisite Yachts. This is where the Yot 36 and 41 are produced, ahead of a larger model which we’ll be hearing more about very soon. The shipyard will eventually employ 450 people and have an annual production capacity of 200 units. Apollo, the J 121 is sailing at around 8 knots up past the Indian mark, heading up to Jobo. Dawn Treader are also going well around the windward side of the Island!
