The weatherman played a trick on us. Yesterday's forecast of clear skies for this evening's trip never materialized. Instead, grey skies blew in on the southeast wind. But no matter! We sailed out close-haul past the Shagwong buoy then enjoyed the long downhill slide back to Culloden Point and around into Fort Pond Bay.

The manufacturer has unveiled its latest “little” boat, the Rapido 40. Trick of the light - that’s its name - has shown good average speeds right from its first sail.
