► Full test in Multihulls World #185: https://www.multihulls-world.com/review/trimaran/corsair-880-a-brilliant-toy-for-gliding-across-the-water ► An easy-to-transport trimaran that’s comfortable for both cruising and racing. This is how the 880 comes across, a worthy heir to the famous F-27, an iconic model launched back in 1986. This time, the yard started from a blank canvas and integrated elements of comfort previously unknown on board a trimaran of less than 30’ (9 m): complete lighting system, refrigerator, manual or electric toilets, and even reversible air conditioning are available! Performance enthusiasts can rest assured: the air conditioning and generator are removable... And the Corsair 880, available in a Sport version with its carbon mast, should be able to fully convince them! ► TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Builder: Corsair Marine Length: 28’11” (8.80 m) Beam: 22’4”/8’3” (6.8 / 2.5 m) Light displacement: 3,660 lbs (1,660 kg) Draft: 18”/5’3” (0.45 / 1.60 m) Sail area: 555 sq ft (51.47 m²) Mast height: 39’4” (12 m) Max engine power: 15 HP outboard ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! The Cleat Hitch is a simple but effective way to secure your boat to the dock. Many people will argue that you should not use this method (preferring the OXO method) ad it can lock tight under heavy load. The team at bottom up boats agree to disagree with these critics as we firmly believe that there is a time and a place for everything. The clear hitch is neat and does not take up massive around of room on the cleat. In addition to the the cleat hitch ties nicely over the top of other lines which are being used to secure boats or yachts which got to the dock before you. If you want to learn more about the cleat hitch and OXO methods for securing your boat then take a look out our full length video where we take you through the pros and cons of both. https://youtu.be/LepMcTJuFfI If you want full instructions on how to tie the cleat hitch then follow the link below to learn more. https://youtu.be/5tnpsmPpL9k The team at bottom up boats hope you enjoyed this short video video where we teach you how to tie the cleat hitch in less than 30 seconds.

Fast communication between the spotter and helm is essential to navigate the dubiously chartered coral reefs and bommie fields of Fiji and we've often envied crew on other boats who manage to do this without shouting at eachother down the length of the boat! Someone at @hollylandtech obviously noticed our lack of effective communication and sent us some cool Solidcom C1 Pro headsets to try out.. and boy have they made a difference We turn down 90% of free products offered for us by brands to 'try out' because.. well, we know we just won't use them, but these headsets have been an absolute Godsend, so thanks to the guys at @Hollylandtech
