Foi dada a largada para a 48ª edição da Semana Internacional de Vela de Ilhabela, que acontece entre os dias 24 e 31 de julho de 2021, no Yacht Club de Ilhabela (YCI), no litoral norte paulista. Neste sábado (24), aconteceu virtualmente a Reunião de Comandantes, onde os representantes dos veleiros inscritos no evento fazem suas considerações sobre as expectativas para o evento, que terá suas primeiras regatas neste domingo (25). O grande encontro da modalidade conta com 80 barcos das principais classes de vela oceânica, como ORC, RGS, Mini Transat, Multicasco, Bico de Proa, Clássicos, C30 e HPE25. E, pela primeira vez, reúne regatas presenciais e virtuais, com as provas online feitas pelo aplicativo Virtual Regatta Inshore. The Ocean Race Europe is a north-south European offshore race scheduled to take place in 2025, ahead of the 2026/27 edition of the round-the-world Race. It will start in the Baltic Sea, sail across the North Sea and the Atlantic, through the Strait of Gibraltar, and finish in the Mediterranean, with up to five stops along the way (in addition to the start and finish ports).
