Our first washing day since we connected the first solar panels :-) We have ended with more in the batteries than we started the day despite multiple loads of washing and spin drying, doing the washing up (between them and drinks boiling the kettle on the induction hob at least 6 times), and running my computer (mini desktop with 40" screen). We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund.
