We finally get hold and jump in our tender Rocco while the other single hands SV Panda, our 1980 Amel Sharki ketch rigged sailing machine. We purposefully reefed down quite a bit just to keep boat speeds down in the 18kts of wind. This video was taken from a Plage d'Essaouira in November 2023 to showcase the beautiful Global Surveyor at anchor near this vast, golden sandy beach located just outside the old town. Essaouira is a vibrant and lively place that functioned as Morocco's main port, exporting caravan goods to the rest the globe. The 10 day @gowestsailing adventure started in Gibraltar, we then sailed down the Moroccan coast to Agadir before we left for Canary Islands.
