Sunshine and a steady 6 knots to 8 knots of breeze breeze greeted the competitors for Race 3 of Strangford Lough narrows regatta. GTR has some ground to make up after dropping back to mid fleet. With the angle free but not free enough to fly the spinnaker it was the perfect moment to deploy the Code Zero. With the both sails set and trimmed in GTR was doing two to one over its nearest rivals which allowed them to eat into the lead and eventually take the race win. Der Palstek ( Bulin ) ist ein Auge das sich nicht zuzieht, hält gut und ist auch nach langer und wechselnder Belastung meist gut zu lösen. Der Knoten dient zum Bergen und Sichern von Personen und ist zum Festmachen geeignet. Als Festmacher wird die Leine als feste Schlaufe um den Poller gelegt oder an einem festen Punkt an Land festgebunden.
