The Alpine butterfly knot, also known as lineman's loop, butterfly loop, butterfly knot and lineman's rider, is a knot used to form a fixed loop in the middle of a rope. She floats! Today the #Bestevaer 45 'Mate' was launched into the water! The owner was present to splash some champagne on her bow so that Neptune will be pleased and allow 'Mate' and her crew safe passages across all the world's seas. The next couple of weeks we will finalize the last work on board and start test sailing her.
