Port Macdonnell is a relatively shallow bay facing the southern ocean and big swells creates a dangerous entry. After picking our path we surf a few waves before we get picked up by a larger breaking wave and end up surfing in at 21 KNOTS! We understand why we are the only sailing boat in the harbour. Red Bull Racing selected Wajer Yachts again as Official Supplier to transport the Red Bull team and their guests from A to B in the Harbour of Monaco during the Monaco F1 Grand Prix 2022. Six Wajer 38/38S were used to transport everyone to and from the so-called Red Bull Energy Station. In addition, 2 Wajers were this year part of a very special stunt by biker Fabio Wibmer in the middle of Monaco harbor. In short, another very successful and special weekend. Red Bull Racing, thanks for letting us be a part of this again. See you next year!

Say hello to Stormvogel; a timeless offshore icon and now the standout classic in our growing fleet. She's not just graceful; she's formidable too. In the 2023 Rolex Fastnet Race, Stormvogel claimed 6th in IRC Zero (and placed 11th overall in IRC) from a massive field of 358 starters. Launched in 1961, Stormvogel was one of the world's first lightweight maxis-designed by Van de Stadt, with input from Laurent Giles-and built of cold-moulded wood. She won Line Honours in her first-ever Fastnet, and over six decades later continues to sail-and compete-with unwavering spirit. With more than 50 entries now confirmed and less than 2 months remaining until the 2025 Rolex Middle Sea Race, anticipation is building. @rolexmiddlesearace
