We were scouting a new route for an upcoming PAPA Regatta — and it turned out to be the perfect escape after a long COVID lockdown. Warm spring air, that feeling of summer just around the corner. It was the best possible way to spend the May holidays. And it was still a time when Russian and Ukrainian flags could fly side by side at the stern — united by a shared love for the sea. Comment if you like Fresh B.C. Canada Sockeye Salmon Sashimi! We were given some fresh Sockeye Salmon caught only an hour earlier that day. I attempted to filet it and in the process made some amazing sushi! Fresh sockeye sushi sashimi! Yum! A little soy sauce and a slice of beautiful red salmon! Doesn't get any better
