We were scouting a new route for an upcoming PAPA Regatta — and it turned out to be the perfect escape after a long COVID lockdown. Warm spring air, that feeling of summer just around the corner. It was the best possible way to spend the May holidays. And it was still a time when Russian and Ukrainian flags could fly side by side at the stern — united by a shared love for the sea. We arrived just in time to buy more electric tokens from the garage before they closed at 8pm. Then we made it onto the boat with our stuff just before it started to rain. Temperature is due to feel like 1°C tonight so we have been airing and warming the boat with 2 fan heaters (hence the background noise) #BoatRefit #Shorts
