Morgan shows you how he uses the new loader accessory that comes with each new Outback to help solo lifting and roof racking. Much easier on your body to lift each end individually instead of trying to lift all the weight up at once and keep things balanced. This Loader only works on the new Outback, it has softer rubber feet that keep it planted. Out Mirage Pro Angler 12 and Pro Angler 14 have a similar system molded into the hull and works great!
After trying a range of home cooked dishes and practicing cooking Trinidadian cuisine I'm starting to learn the flavour profile! It's delicious but so different to what I'm used to growing up in Australia, where Asian and European cooking influences are more common. Want to know why Australians love lamb? Google our Australia Day lamb ads and take it with a sense of Australian humour 😉 After some internal debate I decided to try cooking some lamb in a curry inspired by Trinidad cooking, using pimento, peppers, Chief spices and of course, green seasoning. The outcome was pretty good and convinced me my next challenge should be curried goat! ______________________________________________ https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/ ☝Check out the website for more info on us, the places we go and products we use 📷 After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. 🎶 Music from Artlist ➼ Get yourself 2 months free with a subscription https://artlist.io/Telicia-1577425 #travelvlog #digitalnomad #LifeStyle #travel #trinidad #caribbean #localcooking #trinidadandtobago #curryrecipe
A rogue wave from a different direction to the general wave train hits my boat while hove to (not sailing) in a storm, 100 miles off the Australian coast on passage from New Caledonia to Brisbane in November 2017. This was during my single-handed sailing circumnavigation in Fathom, my Vancouver 28. The tiller is not lashed completely to leeward as I was experimenting in keeping some way on. Conditions improved enough after 3 days that I was able to start sailing again and safely make landfall. If I had tried to close on the coast in these conditions it could have been a disaster in the shallow water and even bigger breaking waves found in the South Australian Current (another solo sailor was rescued at the time). On 9/11, my wife and I ventured to the Valley of the Temples to see the Byodo-In Temple, a replica of the traditional Japanese style building and temples built to honor immigration of Japanese to the island of Oahu, Hawaii. While there, we got to feed the koi fish, the birds and pray in the temple. Remove your shoes when venturing into the inner hall where Buddha statue stands tall and ominous. This video is of myself grabbing the ram to ring the gong located to the left of the temple.
