On 9/11, my wife and I ventured to the Valley of the Temples to see the Byodo-In Temple, a replica of the traditional Japanese style building and temples built to honor immigration of Japanese to the island of Oahu, Hawaii. While there, we got to feed the koi fish, the birds and pray in the temple. Remove your shoes when venturing into the inner hall where Buddha statue stands tall and ominous. This video is of Crystal grabbing the ram to ring the gong located to the left of the temple.

24 dagar till havs är nu vårt längsta seglingsben någonsin, och vi har fortfarande flera dagar kvar innan vi når land. Att segla över Atlanten tog 21 dagar och det tyckte vi var långt. Det är lite märkligt hur man ändrar uppfattning av vad som är långt och inte. Man hinner fundera på mycket här ute. Hur får tiden egentligen plats att gå både fort och långsamt på samma gång? Men såhär är livet mitt ute på Stilla Havet. Vardagen fortsätter trots att horisonten ser likadan ut dag efter dag och barnen är våra bästa påminnare om att leva här och nu. 👉 Skulle du klara en hel månad utan att se land?
