Well done to all who were involved in returning this beautiful classic sailing yacht to its former glory. The following series captures the extensive restoration of Brynhilde, a 1958 Fred Parker 10-metre wooden Bermudian sloop, who arrived here at Berthon on the 4th October 2019. She has been in her present family’s ownership for the past 40 years, competing in the Hill Robinson sponsored regattas in the south of France for over a decade, and most recently sailed at the 2021 Monaco Classic Week – La Belle Classe. Arriving for a deck replacement but undergoing broad further works, Brynhilde is a beautiful example of a timeless yacht refitted to an incredibly high standard. Traditional skills were used throughout this project. Cíes, Ons y Sálvora son las islas que vamos a visitar en esta Masterclass de vela y navegación atlántica por las aguas costeras de Galicia. Saldremos del puerto de Punta Lagoa situado en la orilla sur de la Ría de Vigo para poner rumbo a la ruta de las tres islas. En el precio está incluido el desayuno, comida y cena. Para el primer día, el viernes, tendremos preparada una mariscada a cargo de @LaPescaderiademiBarrio . Los mediodías haremos rancho frío, picnic. Así aprovechamos y disfrutamos de nuestro deporte, la vela y la navegación. La masterclass consiste en navegar con una persona experimentada mientras nos lo pasamos bien. Vas a perfeccionar tus técnicas de vela, navegación, radar, vida en la mar. Yo tengo muchas ganas de que llegue el día.
