This was a trip up Southampton Water to the River Hamble. SotonMet logged it as F6 gusting F7. We were double reefed on the main with about 4/5 rolls in the jib. The wind was strong enough that we struggled to motor mainly because of the short chop. She sailed extremely well though, tacking all the way - 14 miles or so in total.

Not gonna lie, first time berthing this beast was terrifying (I’d only berthed using tiller steer on smaller boats before this) but I’m sloooowly getting the hang of it! We’re heading south to the Gold Coast for some much needed repairs, a few upgrades and a bum clean.
