Ma non temete, ci sono io a guidarvi tra i flutti! 🚤💨 SKIPPER: È il termine più usato nel mondo della vela da diporto. Non solo tiene il timone, ma è l’anima della barca, colui che conosce ogni segreto del mare e della sua nave. 🧭 CAPITANO: Suona maestoso, vero? È più formale, usato spesso per le navi di grandi dimensioni o in contesti più ufficiali. Ma su una barca a vela, il cap è spesso proprio lo skipper! 👑⚓️ COMANDANTE: Il titolo che evoca rispetto e autorità. Nei contesti professionali e commerciali, il comandante è al vertice. Ma tra le onde, chi detiene la mappa del tesoro è sempre lo skipper. 🗺️🔝 CONDUCENTE: Questo ci fa pensare di più a chi sta al volante su strada, ma in mare, il timone è la sua ruota. Tuttavia, il termine skipper cattura meglio l’essenza della guida in mare aperto. 🚗👉⛵️ Confusi? Non preoccupatevi! J109 "Going to Red" beating to windward had a fine line to thread the gap between Jellybaby and another IRC Zero entry on day two of racing of Cork Week 2024. Race 6 ended up being the trickiest race of the day with the wind getting light and variable towards the top mark before a 30 degree shift on the last beat turned the race on it head. The race committee did a good job to finish the IRC 1 boats at the top mark to limit the damage from the variable winds.
