We needed to get data, so we had to take the dinghy across the sandbar into the lagoon - The waves were big and breaking….check out the video. Last September, we saw two dolphin pods while sailing near Mull of Kintyre. Guided by Skipper Howie on the North Star, we headed towards Kilbrannan Sound and witnessed these beautiful creatures up close!

We're motoring into West Lake Cove for an overnight stay on our 1983 Catalina 30 sailboat. The bilge will be flooded when we get there, but we'll have to fix it later because we're having a date night! Just the two of us! We're a sailing couple, on Lewisville Lake, Texas, and we do love to be anchored in the cove and cook on the grill.
