Indeed, the HopYacht 30 features a single furling genoa supported by a mast logically stepped very far aft. The designers have limited the beam to 11 feet 3 inches (3.44 m) in order to limit the cost of a marina slip. The HopYacht can be disassembled and its two hulls each fit into a standard shipping container. This catamaran will therefore be crossing the oceans as deck cargo - it is approved in CE Category C (Beaufort Force 6 and maximum wave heights of 2 meters or 6½ feet). In addition to its genoa, the HopYacht is powered by two 6 kW E-Propulsion pods, equivalent to 9.9 HP regular motors, but without pollution or noise of course. With the adoption of an induction cooker and an electric water heater, no fossil fuels will be consumed on board. The interior, not dissimilar to what you’d find in the riverboat sector, is surprisingly comfortable for a unit of this size. En plus de son génois, le HopYacht est propulsé par deux pods E-Propulsion de 6 kW, équivalents à des moteurs de 9,9 CV, mais sans pollution ni bruit bien sûr. Avec l’adoption d’une plaque à induction et d’un chauffe-eau électrique, il n'y a pas d'énergie fossile à bord. Les aménagements, assez proche de ce qu’on peut trouver dans le domaine de la plaisance fluviale, sont étonnamment confortables pour unité de cette taille. Miyabi is a custom-built Visamara, built for fast cruising in the Mediterranean and completed a refit in 2018. She could set an example regarding development and design innovation, offering large space compared to other yachts in her size range. Thanks to her hull, derived from the modern Volvo 70, she ensures the most comfortable pass on the waves and convenience of navigation. Miyabi has adopted the open space concept for her salon and galley. Her raised salon allows full visibility to the exterior when standing up. The galley was moved forward to define the separate functions of the two environments and at the same time, to give continuity in the space. Her experienced crew of 2 looks forward to a busy season in the Balearic islands.
