Overall, however, fuel consumption is low. When we took 18 days to cross the Atlantic Ocean we only used 4 gallons of Diesel and most of that was for running the generator! Join us on a catamaran sailing adventure as we divert our hurricane season migration to Charleston. Experience the beauty of the open sea and the thrill of sailing on a catamaran! I knew the sea state wasn't going to be great but I was talked into going anyway. Our original destination was the Chesapeake Bay but we decided to duck into Charleston after the forecasted front of thunderstorms increased in strength.
