Good luck with your YouTube channel! Join two boomers as we embark on our new chapter & how we manage life & family from our MacIntosh 47’ sailboat heading home to Australia. We were not ready to sit on the porch in our rocking chairs just yet & we set off on a journey around Australia in our RV to test out how the family would manage without us. Of course they managed fine so after a few years in the RV we felt the time was right to fulfil our lifetime dream ......to sail around the world. Like what you see? Watch the FULL VIDEO on our channel 😀 After being in storage for months on end we were finally able to launch our catamaran tender thanks to some help from a kind Trinidadian local. We've experienced many instances of the Trinidadian generosity of spirit while here, and hope to showcase that during our time in Trinidad, as well as pay the kindness back and forward. While our initial plan was to go DDI, or Down De Islands, we ended up hopping up the Trinidad coastline ending up in Scotland Bay. Scotland Bay is generally only accessible by water and is hugely popular for Trinidadians looking to swim, lime and hang out with friends by the water.
