Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We visit Mt. Airy, NC and find ourselves in another time and place. Walking the streets and talking to the locals is the best part of visiting this town and it doesn't take long to realize where the idea for Mayberry came about. Mt. Airy is a place where there are no strangers and there is never a dull moment.

Ira was taking photos from the back of a local powerboat for the finishers of the Pacific Cup (the fun race to Hawaii!) and got pooped as all heck by 15-20 ft swell. And that's not just any swell: it's middle of the pacific, nothing in it's way, huge, powerful groundswell! What she does to get the shots, eh?!
