This a nice trick we use to create multiple points of attachment to places we do not have a lit of cleats or rings to the dock, like in Hydra island. bowline one side and trackers Hitch from the other side to make the line super tension and we use it as a ring.

El snuffer, que es como se conoce en inglés, es una ayuda súper importante en el izado y arriado de velas portantes tales como los spinnakers o spi y los gennakers, ya que las desventa. se tira de un cabo tira-vira y el calcetín baja introduciendo la vela dentro de sí mismo. Al suceder esto, la vela pierde toda la potencia y se iza o arría sin dificultad.
