5 days of adventure, challenges, and teamwork! Not a lot of wind for the most part but the little we got made for some amazing sailing at times. Out to Moturekareka island, on out to Great Barrier for 2 nights before a magical night sail back to Motutapu for the last night. The lads then took charge of the yacht on the last day, and sailed us safely home. Knot work, Raft building, beach games and a huge beach clean up at Rangiwhakea Bay. Well done team!
On World Dolphin Day, we honor these envoys of the ocean for their grace, intellect, and sheer wonder. These amazing marine creatures not only serve as a symbol of the astounding richness of our oceans but also serve as a source of inspiration and interest for all of us. It's also a day to recognize the difficulties dolphins and other marine animals endure. Like many maritime animals, dolphins are threatened by habitat loss, pollution, climate change, and human activities, such as bycatch in fishing nets. Whether you're supporting dolphins up close onboard La Galigo Liveaboard or from afar. Want to know more and contribute to our conservation efforts in protecting of the ocean and supporting the local community in Komodo and Raja Ampat? Reach out to us today! La Galigo offers the ideal chance to start a remarkable dive trip in some of the most magnificent #dive and #snorkeling locations in #RajaAmpat and #Komodo.
