Today Nala got to meet a falcon 🦅🐾 We’ll share a bit more of the story soon and explain how we ended up having a falcon on board for almost two weeks 😄 In the meantime, Nala spent quite a while watching it from a safe distance, trying to figure out exactly what kind of creature it was. Our new cruising yacht Viator Explorer 42 DS has 2x10KW electric motors as propulsion. Those motors can be used as hydrogenerators when sailing. We are testing this feature in this short video. The maximum output is about 21A, which equals about 1KW. But it is still very volatile, so we have to optimize the regeneration process.
