We anchor in secluded bays, take our pups Indy, Cooper, and Brooklyn ashore via dinghy, and even squeeze in a spontaneous detour to Formentera, often called the Maldives of the Med. After riding out a surprise storm, we explore the vibrant heart of Ibiza Town, climb the ancient walls of Dalt Vila, and reconnect with friends inland in Sant Josep. On 9/11, my wife and I ventured to the Valley of the Temples to see the Byodo-In Temple, a replica of the traditional Japanese style building and temples built to honor immigration of Japanese to the island of Oahu, Hawaii. While there, we got to feed the koi fish, the birds and pray in the temple. Remove your shoes when venturing into the inner hall where Buddha statue stands tall and ominous. This video is of Crystal grabbing the ram to ring the gong located to the left of the temple.
