This was the first video I ever tried to film. I needed a distraction from what was ahead of me. 3 years ago, with a keel and hull flexing issue back in Scotland. I almost start tearing up remembering this terrible time. The yard was quite far from home, so I had to sleep in the car at the carpark, eat ready meals from the supermarket and shower wherever. This little issue bankrupted me! Literally!! But I leave that for another time. Still, it seems appropriate for a throw-back-thursday :) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9W4L77A-Rw/

Without all the distractions and temptations of modern work the true essence of life shines through. Everyday here revolves around either catching/foraging food or working in the garden to grow it. Without this daily task children can not go to school and the people can not survive. Often physically demanding the general attitude is to help others in need whether elderly or victim to other ailments. A purpose in life that we can all live by to make a better world. While hanging out at anchor over on Hans Lollick we met the ThuderCat VI crew. What an awesome group of people. We hung out for an hour or so, and then they took my wife for a quick sea trial.
