This knot is fun to tie and can save you a lot of hassle. It's commonly tied at the bitter end of halyards and sheets to prevent them from getting inadvertently pulled out of the block, fairleads, and jammers they've been led through.

Vi har nu lämnat Panamabukten bakom oss och första etappen bjöd på tuff kryss i stampig sjö. Men mitt i allt lyckades vi fånga en makrill som blev en fantastisk middag ombord. Under nattpasset hörde jag valar och delfiner ute i mörkret, en sådan där stund som gör att man glömmer både sömnbrist och motvind. Morgonen bjöd på lugnare vindar men nu har vinden kommit tillbaka och vi seglar vidare i 5–6 knop utan motor, precis som vi vill ha det. Midsommarveckan har minst sagt fått en fin start. ☀️⛵️ Vilket djurmöte till havs hade du helst velat uppleva, valar, delfiner eller något helt annat? 👇 Kommentera gärna ❤️

We've been told that this well-stocked Grocery in George Town Exumas is largely due, in part, by the effort of the Bahamas to make cruisers feel welcome here. Well, whatever the reason, this is one of the better stocked groceries in all of the Bahamas (that we've found)...Perhaps third to only New Providence and Spanish Wells. Thank you, George Town!
