🪢 Sunday Boat Tip [26/52] 🪢 Are you team upwind or team downwind? Linnea was our first boat with a furling headsail and the natural way for us was to head upwind. It was always a hard job, and Marcus was the only one with enough strength to be able to furl it in even though we only had a small self-tacking jib. But then we got this advice and it was a game changer! The idea seems pretty obvious now, but we had just never considered it! Now handling the furler is an easy job, that we both can manage. Dopo le prime lavorazioni, lasciamo per sempre baia Falmouth per risalire verso nord. Per non arrivare a Barbuda di notte, decidiamo di fermarci a Jolly Harbour, baia protetta, fondale basso e sabbioso, dove abbiamo la certezza di una dogana. Domattina sveglia presto e VIA verso Barbuda! A domani!

Korfu – Zakynthos – Peloponnes – Santorin – Rhodos in 5 Tagen 3 Stunden und 52 Minuten und ohne Landberührung… Das ist ein Segeltörn durch Griechenland der ungewöhnlichen Art! 551,7 Seemeilen ganz ohne Sirtaki, Tsatsiki und Souvlaki. Bei der Überführung der Segelyacht “Makani”, einer Sigma 38 von Korfu nach Rhodos vom 8. bis 13. April und am 16. April nach Marmaris ist alles anders, was man sonst vom Segeln in Griechenland kennt.
