During the 2025 Annapolis Sailing Schools BVI Flotilla, there was an event that left everyone both in stitches and in awe. The illustrious Rick Nelson, owner of the Annapolis Sailing School, decided to take matters (and scrub brush) into his own hands to clean the hull of our trusty catamaran. This might have contributed to our fast and smooth sail from Virgin Gorda to Anegada; it was clear that the Admiral's hull cleaning had indeed made all the difference:)

From sandboarding down dunes to paragliding over the island… kitesurfing, sunset hikes, cocktails on the beach... and even a surfing dog 🐶🏄‍♀️ WE DID IT ALL! What started with a souvenir mug turned into a wild checklist we couldn’t ignore and this episode was the result. Ben van der Steen and Luca Spindler blasting around the Campo de Futbol waters in Tarifa. Both guys are using the Loftsails 2023 Racingblade, designed by the man himself Monty Spindler. Racingblade continues to spearhead evolution of the Loftsails racing program. Lightning acceleration, blistering speed, and rider control are what really count on the fin racing course. Previous seasons saw significant improvements to the core design through higher aspect-ratios, reshaped luff curves, and profile-depth adjustments. These changes improved acceleration, reduced rider fatigue, and made the sails feel lighter in the hands. 2023 development continued to focus on further improvement of these key design parameters.
