Kiel war der Startpunkt des The Ocean Race Europe 2025 â und setzte gleich zu Beginn ein eindrucksvolles Zeichen. FĂŒnf Tage lang verwandelte sich die Kieler Förde in eine BĂŒhne fĂŒr Hochsee-Segelsport, gelebten Meeresschutz und ein internationales Miteinander. Zwischen dem 6. und 10. August kamen hunderttausende Menschen an die Kiellinie, um die IMOCA-Boote aus nĂ€chster NĂ€he zu erleben, die Crews bei spannenden Showrennen und dem groĂen Leg Start anzufeuern und Teil eines auĂergewöhnlichen maritimen Festivals zu sein. Fast die HĂ€lfte aller Besucher*innen des gesamten Rennens war schon in Kiel dabei â ein starkes Zeichen fĂŒr die Bedeutung der Stadt Kiel im Segelsport.
