After renting out their house in New Zealand, Renee and Lynette pushed off aboard their steel sailboat Tekaihau to sail around the world. They have sailed over 30,000 nautical miles and visited 16 countries so far. Just another 8000 miles to go... I will pick up my new passport this afternoon and then we'll be on the road to Washington to have a look at the boat I want to buy. It is a really cool story...I can't wait to tell it. Also a little reinforcement of what this channel will be about. Wild food, fly fishing, traditional bowhunting, foraging, and campfires in the backcountry...but home will be a sailboat! Should be interesting, definitely wild...John Schneider's Wild Life!
