The ➰ Snuggle Hitch is super-charged Clove Hitch that is stronger and more secure. Use it for attaching a line to a spar or rope. It works for both lengthways and right-angled pulls. Easy to release and only seconds longer to tie than the Clove. 🔸 Wrap the line around and bring the working end across diagonally from right to left over the standing part. 🔸 Lead the working end back over & lead it up behind, over diagonally from left to right. Let’s talk about those Sailfin Snapper in one of our Ribbons Reef episodes, we’ve been getting a lot of comments on this footage. While we’ve seen plenty of smaller schools over the years, this one was HUGE! We can only assume they were spawning on this reef edge when we came across them - as a lot of other species seemed to be around the same time. Amazing to witness and catch on film. Secondly, a few people have told us these are good eating however the first thing that shows up on a google search is that they’ve got a high cig risk. So yeah, don’t think I’ll risk that.
