Als erstes geht es von Sizilien rund 200 Seemeilen nach Sardinien und von dort knapp 550 Seemeilen nach Almerimar am spanischen Festland. Dabei geht einiges kaputt und ein Containerschiff nähert sich auf Kollisionskurs. Geht das gut? This time we are sailing longer distances again, further and further west. First, we sail around 200 nautical miles from Sicily to Sardinia and from there just about 550 nautical miles to Almerimar on the Spanish mainland. The first orca (nicknamed Moby Doll) ever to be caught alive was captured off East Point on Saturna Island. East Point is one of the view places in the world where you can get close to orcas from the land. The resident whales swim past twice a day East Point is only a couple of minutes walk from our summer house on Saturna island, so we see them frequently
