In questa breve preview, partiamo da Lignano Sabbiadoro, attraversiamo l'Adriatico verso la Croazia e atterriamo a Rovigno per le pratiche di ingresso. Facciamo tappa a Veruda per visitare la zona e poi scenderemo le isole del Quarnaro arrivando al Marina di Kremik dove lasciamo la barca per una settimana per poter rientrare al lavoro. Pour battre le record, détenu depuis le 25 décembre 2016 par Thomas Coville en 49 jours 3 heures 4 minutes et 28 secondes, François Gabart devra couper la ligne d’arrivée avant le 23 décembre à 13h09 (heure française) sur son trimaran MACIF. En plus de travailler sans relâche pour faire avancer son trimaran de 30 mètres le plus rapidement possible, il devra donc bénéficier d’un enchaînement de conditions météo favorables.
