Each August, we have a special trip to the Sea of Cortez/Midriff Islands to benefit breast cancer research with Dive for a Cure. In August 2020, we had 18 fun-loving ladies, a big inflatable pink flamingo, a pink tutu, and lots of craziness to go with an even crazier crew. We had a blast!

The 2018 37' 5" INVICTUS 370 GT Center Console Boat was designed by ANNA FENDI and is available for sale in Antibes, France, with Daria Tomassetti. The boat interior features fine wood with Tanganyika white "frisé" that highlights the details of the furniture. The black and white continue in the fabrics and equipment, from the sofa made with warm ivory chenille to the linen curtains with dark skin flanges. Badges and motifs of the Anna Fendi brand have been embroidered in leather throughout. Ci eravamo abituati alla morbida e alta onda lunga oceanica. Questa notte abbiamo lasciato la marina Rubicon di Lanzarote per raggiungere la marina di Las Palmas, sull’isola di Gran Canaria. Dopo poche miglia a vela il mare inizia a innervosirsi presentandoci una corta, alta e fastidiosa onda incrociata. Non riuscivi a stare in piedi! Ogni cambio turno ci si lamentava delle condizioni con chi sopraggiungeva, che a sua volta non era riuscito a dormire come avrebbe voluto. Tutto sommato la notte è comunque passata. Siamo arrivati a Las Palmas e ci siamo messi all’ancora. I prossimi giorni saranno di preparazione della barca per la traversata. Adesso andiamo a dormire presto per recuperare le ore dormite poco e male questa notte. Buona befana a tutti! Andrea
