J109 "CTRL J" beating up the shore to stay out of the tide shortly after the start of the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. With over 100 boats on the start line everyone was fighting for air shortly after the start, with the tide coming in all day it paid to get right early to find both clear air and some relief from the stronger tide out in the main channel. J109 Going to Red gliding by J122E Javelin during Volvo Cork Week 2024. The bright yellow kite on Javelin was hard to miss at the looked to get deep on the run. It was all smile on Going to Red with the crew giving the competitors on Javelin a wave as they glided by. The team at bottom up boats hope you enjoy these shorts bits from our 2024 racing season.
