The Greyhound is a typical Dykstra Naval Architects design, based on Gerry Dykstra's private Bestevaer. The aluminium hull will be build at KM Yachtbuilders over the next few months. It's being build for a Dutch family who has lots of sailing experience. In this video they are welding in the build number (098) themselves. A visible and lasting memory. Last year we built this 12M landing craft for export to Democratic Republic of Congo. The job took longer than expected due to the Covid aftermath but the vessel was finally sent as sea cargo. Here it is cruising Congo waters.
