You've seen this clip many times on nature programmes I guess but here is evidence that sailors are frequently accompanied by sea life. Shortly before this clip one of these pilot whales was jumping clean out of the water vertically. An impressive sight since pilot whales are considerably bigger than dolphins. Finding the best place to anchor when you have the whole bay to yourselves. Sometimes it's more difficult than you imagine to find the best place to anchor when you have the whole bay to yourselves...might as well have a proper, good look round before choosing! This is Phang Nga bay in Thailand, next to James Bond Island. ****************************** Be one of the good guys: https://www.patreon.com/followtheboat Be the first to know: http://eepurl.com/B9Ykn Subscribe to our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=spannerheadz Blog: http://www.followtheboat.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/followtheboat Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/followtheboat ****************************** Music by Kevin MacLeod ( 'Baltic Levity') http://www.incompetech.com
Marta jumped into the Snipe in 2008 to sail the Snipe Women's Worlds in Spain. She likes sailing Snipes because the boat is so technical -- there are lots of adjustments you can make to the rig to get the boat going its fastest. Sailing the Snipe also requires physical preparation. It's just one part of staying healthy by doing things that are fun.
