I quote from his email " we achieved 9 / 10 kt to windward, 16 kt broad reaching under gennaker ( 14.8knots over 500 m and 14.3 over a nautical mile) The Strike 20 has a simple dory shape plywood main hull and uses beach cat outriggers and rig. so it is an easy cheap way to build your own performance trimaran. The new Yamaha F115 outboard will be lighter and more powerful than the motor it replaces, according to Yamaha, which released specs in January and debuted the four-cylinder four-stroke at the Miami International Boat Show.
